About
I am a lecturer at the University of Portsmouth. My work is largely to do with Hoey's Theory of Lexical Priming; I am looking for evidence of priming in the spoken English of Korean nationals.
For the study I have prepared two small corpora of Korean spoken English. One was recorded in Korea and one in England to see what kind of structures are vulnerable to change 'independently' of L1 effects and cultural background.
